In this message, Pastor Bogdan continues the sermon series entitled: What Is The Church? God’s design for the church is to bring all the members of the body to the unity of faith and to the full stature of Christ with the result that they will be a stable and growing body in living union with Christ the head. We see from the text that pride provokes disunity whereas humility promotes unity. The Bible is teaching us that our job as Christians is not to create peace, because that is the job of the Holy Spirit but rather our job is to maintain the peace that has already been created with all eagerness. Christian lives should demonstrate humility, gentleness, and patience, which are accomplished by forbearing one another in love and making every effort to preserve the unity that comes from the Holy Spirit. A healthy church that not only grows but also grows up is a church where unity is eagerly maintained by all members.
