Six Sins Of Suburbia: Complacency
Show Notes

In this message, pastor Bogdan continues the sermon series entitled The Six Sins Of Suburbia. Complacency is a feeling of quiet pleasure or security, often while unaware of some potential danger, defect, or the like; self-satisfaction or smug satisfaction with an existing situation, or condition. Complacency has a way of leading us to neglect what is important in favor of serving ourselves. We neglect our relationship with God and our God-given responsibility to others. We inadvertently become blind to the people and places God desires us to minister to with his gospel of love. The intentional and daily practice of lamenting over the state of your spiritual condition, namely the sins you’ve committed but also the grace of Christ that you have been offered, is the antidote to complacency.
