The Sinfulness Of Sin | Good Friday 2026 | Pastor Bogdan Kipko

In this powerful Good Friday message, Pastor Bogdan Kipko unpacks Romans 3:9–26, where the Apostle Paul delivers a devastating courtroom indictment against the entire human race. Both Jews and Gentiles stand equally “under sin,” with no one righteous, no one seeking God, and every mouth silenced by the law. Paul exposes sin not merely as bad actions, but as a deep, enslaving condition of rebellion against God — corruption that poisons our speech, drives our actions, and leaves a trail of ruin and misery because there is “no fear of God before our eyes.” Yet the sermon does not leave us in despair. In one of Scripture’s greatest turning points — “But now…” — Paul reveals the glorious good news: the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, received as a free gift through faith in Jesus Christ. God put forward His own Son as a propitiation by His blood, satisfying divine justice so that He can be both just and the justifier of all who believe.
Takeaway: Until we truly see the sinfulness of sin, we will never fully marvel at the glory of the cross. The bad news about us makes the good news about Jesus infinitely sweeter.
In this message you will discover:
- Why no one is righteous before a holy God — not even “good” religious people
- How sin is not just what we do, but a ruling power that blinds and enslaves us
- The graphic reality of sin’s effects on our words, actions, and relationships
- The glorious turning point: righteousness given as a gift through faith in Jesus
- How the cross allows God to be both perfectly just and the justifier of sinners
If you’ve ever felt the weight of guilt, shame, or wondered how a holy God could accept you, this sermon will point you to the only hope that truly satisfies — the finished work of Christ on the cross.
